About
Hi, I’m Sage
I am a professional actor, singer and storyteller. I’ve also been training in traditional Amazonian plant based shamanism and healing over the last 9 years and I just love how these two worlds intertwine.
Stage Experience & Training
Since receiving a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) from WAAPA, I’ve spent 15 years performing on stages all around Australia, as well as guiding vocalists and storytellers of all ages.
I most recently appeared in Wicked, playing the Midwife, covering Madam Morrible. Other theatre credits include, understudying the roles of Queen Iduna and Bulda in Frozen the Musical (Disney Theatricals), Emma Goldman in ‘Ragtime’, Val in A Chorus Line (TML Productions), Dorothy Parker/Ethel Peas in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Anybodys in West Side Story (TPC), Jersey Boys, The Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch/Aunt Em cover – GFO), Jesus Christ Superstar, Funny Girl, Heathers (Showqueen Productions), Nine, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Loving Repeating, and The Damned (BSSTC).
Coaching/ Shamanic Experience & Training
I have always been curious about the worlds we cannot see. The desire to understand how to walk in them has led me through lives in theatre, yoga and meditation and eventually to shamanic medicine practice.
In 2015 I travelled to the Amazon jungle for the first time and had a world opening experience with Ayahuasca that I couldn’t mentally grasp yet couldn’t deny was bearing beautiful fruit in my waking life, as I watched my theatre career take off and found much craved-for stability. My heart was finally being integrated into my work.
I have spent the last ten years travelling back and forth from Peru to undergo rigorous shamanic training and plant medicine education to expand and hone my skills.
As of 2023, it felt like the inevitable life path, of myself guiding people in this way, was beginning to form under my feet. And so in 2024 I began guiding people one on one, in couples and in larger groups in shamanic sessions, both at retreats and in private practice.
It is my pleasure and honour to be able to channel medicine to you, through whichever way we work together.
